Outdoor Fitness Classes

I hope that you are all doing well and looking forward to the Summer and getting outside now that the weather is warmer!

If you are looking to exercise outside, and like to get your exercise done early! Then head along to my Outdoor Bootcamp class in St.Andrew’s Park Bristol, this high-intensity interval training (HIIT class) is for those who want an intense outdoor workout. This type of training gets, and keeps, your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. This High intensity interval training is for those needing a quick fix first thing in the morning but is not suitable for new mums.

Why exercising outside is so good!

Participating in outdoor fitness classes is such a great way to stay active and keep healthy. Being outside can be even more helpful to make the most of your workout by feeling more motivated and alert! There’s some really great benefits to getting fresh air whilst exercising:

  1. Fresh air and natural light: When you exercise outside, you get to breathe in fresh air and soak up some natural light, which can be very refreshing and energising.
  2. Variety: Outdoor environments provide more variety in terms of terrain, scenery, and obstacles than indoor spaces. This can make your workout more interesting and challenging, which can help you avoid boredom and maintain your motivation.
  3. Increased Vitamin D: Exercising outside can also increase your exposure to Vitamin D, which is essential for bone health, and has been linked to reduced rates of depression and anxiety.
  4. Socialisation: Outdoor fitness classes provide an opportunity to meet new people and socialise, which can be particularly helpful for those who struggle with motivation or accountability.
  5. Increased Calorie Burn: Studies have shown that people tend to burn more calories when exercising outside compared to indoors, potentially due to factors such as increased wind resistance and uneven terrain.

Overall, exercising outside can be a great way to shake up your fitness routine, get some fresh air and sunshine, and meet new people, all while improving your physical and mental health!

If you are interested in the park class please get in touch to book your place.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon, stay strong!
